LYNCHBURG, VA. – U.S. Representative John McGuire (VA-05) today announced the opening of a temporary district office location in Lynchburg, Virginia. 

“We are open for business,” said Rep. John McGuire. “Today, as we get to work in our temporary space in the historic Lynchburg City Hall, I am looking forward to opening our doors and continuing to tackle casework for the hardworking people of the Fifth Congressional District.”

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Representative John McGuire (VA-05) today voted for the Preventing Violence Against Women by Aliens Act, legislation that demands that aliens who have been convicted of, or who have committed, sex offenses or domestic violence are inadmissible and deportable. 

Rep. John McGuire is also a cosponsor of the legislation.

Rep. McGuire cosponsored this legislation that was originally authored by Reps. Chip Roy (TX-21) and Brian Mast (FL-21).
