Res. 61, a resolution that provides Congressional disapproval under chapter 8 of title 5, United States Code, of the rule submitted by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) relating to “National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants: Rubber Tire Manufacturing.” The legislation was introduced by Representative Morgan Griffith (VA-09).

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Representative John McGuire (VA-05), introduced his first bill as a Member of Congress: The Agricultural and Forestry Hauling Efficiency Act. This bill reduces costs for farmers and loggers by increasing supply chain efficiency.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Representative John McGuire (VA-05), voted for H.R. 35, the Agent Raul Gonzalez Officer Safety Act, legislation that imposes criminal and immigration penalties for individuals who intentionally flee a pursuing Border Patrol agent or law enforcement officer assisting Border Patrol while operating a motor vehicle. The legislation was introduced by Rep. Juan Ciscomani.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Representative John McGuire (VA-05), penned a letter to the Defense Health Agency  regarding the reported poor conditions and recent flooding incidents at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. The letter requests a briefing for Members of Congress, particularly those serving on the Armed Services Committee, to discuss proposed solutions drafted to address the recent health and safety concerns.
